Geographical situation :

The symposium will be held at the botanical institute in the historical center of Montpellier.

Coming to Montpellier :

  • By road, using highway A9, Montpellier is roughly 700 km far from Paris. Highway exit “Montpellier Est” is at 15mn from center town.

  • By train SNCF station is located in center town, 6 daily TGV (High speed train) connect Paris and Montpellier in 3h 45mn.

  • By plane the international airport Montpellier Méditerranée is situated at 10 km from center town. 11 daily flights are available for Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly Ouest (in 1h 10). Direct links are also available for Ajaccio, Bastia, Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Nice, Perpignan, Strasbourg, etc. From the Airport you may use a bus shuttle (9 daily services, departure after every arrival of flights coming from Paris, cost 5 euros). 15 mn you will be in center town near the railway station.
